Run the business
The whole business in your pocket
Mucka is a proper native app on iPhone and Android, live on the App Store and Google Play. The diary with no signal, photos and video onto the job, Face ID to get in. Everything, in the van.

A proper native app
Live on the App Store and Google Play, not a website in a wrapper.
Works with no signal
The diary, job status, sign-offs and certificates work in the cellar and sync back in range.
Snap it into the job
Photos and video straight onto the job, from the camera or the camera roll.
The next job, without unlocking the phone
On iPhone, Live Activities are rolling out now: your next job sits on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a countdown to leave and live travel time. A home-screen widget shows what is next at a glance, at the address the work is actually at. The day is in your hand before you have opened anything.
- Lock-screen Live Activity for your next job
- Home-screen widget with your next job
- Push alerts for changes, messages and running late
Built for the field, not the office
The phone is where the work actually happens, so the app is built for it. Take photos or pick several from the camera roll at once, and each is shrunk on the phone before it uploads, so a full set still goes through on a weak signal. Record a video for the things a still can’t show, a noise, a leak, a valve behaving badly. Can’t get in? Tap “Couldn’t get in”, photograph the door, and I print the date, time and address onto the picture, tell the office, and keep the attempt on the property with a PDF for the letting agent. Unlock with Face ID, and lock the app behind a passcode so a lost phone does not mean a lost business. Setting the app up on a new phone is walked through in the help centre.
- Photos and video straight onto the job
- “Couldn’t get in”, with a date-stamped photo of the door
- Face ID and an optional App Lock passcode
Works in the cellar, with no signal
Basements, plant rooms and rural jobs don’t stop the day. A saved copy of the diary for today and the week ahead, the jobs list, clients and job notes stays readable with no bars, and a saved job shows the tenant first with a number to tap. On my way, Arrived and Done work offline and keep the time the engineer actually tapped, so an arrival in a cellar goes down at the right time. The customer’s signature, the gas rate sum and any certificate can be finished down there too, and it all sends itself once you’re back in range.
- Diary, jobs, clients and notes readable offline
- On my way, Arrived and Done work with no bars
- Certificates, sign-offs and gas rate sums finished offline
