Most firms have a few bits of paperwork of their own: a risk assessment, a handover sheet, a snagging list, a service checklist. Build each one once and your engineers fill it in on the job, one question per screen. It is made from the same parts as the certificates, so a reading keeps its unit and a failed check asks for a photo.
- Risk assessments, handovers, snagging, checklists
- One question per screen for the engineer
- Readings keep their units, failed checks ask for a photo
Only what you put on it
Job details, the customer and the site address are switches, all off to start with, so the form says exactly what you want and nothing else. Choose who signs: the customer, the engineer, both or neither, and whether it can be issued without them. A form can also set a service reminder, so an annual checklist puts next year’s visit straight into your reminders. Statutory certificates can’t be built, so nobody can make something that passes for a CP12.
- Choose who signs, and whether it can go without them
- An annual checklist can book next year’s reminder
- No home-made CP12s, by design
Your paperwork, done your way, before you leave.
