Customers who always know when you’re coming
A booking confirmation with the arrival window, a reminder before the visit, a text the moment your engineer sets off and a thank-you when they pay. Switch on the ones you want, write them in your own words, and I send them at the right time.
No card needed. Unlimited for 14 days. Cancel any time.
Off until you say
Every message starts switched off. Turn on the ones you want, in Settings or by asking me.
Your wording
Write each one yourself, with a counter showing what a text will cost before you save it.
Delivered, or flagged
What the customer was told sits on the job, and anything that didn’t arrive shows in red.
The texts you used to send from the van
A booking confirmation gives the customer the date and arrival window in writing, which matters most when they agreed a time over the phone. A reminder goes before the visit, from a couple of hours to three days ahead. The on-my-way text goes the moment your engineer presses On my way, and stops the half-eight “are you still coming?” call. There’s a thank-you when an invoice is paid in full, overdue reminders on the days you pick, and a nudge to leave a review after the job. Each one has its own text switch and email switch, and nothing goes until you turn it on.
- Confirmations, reminders, on-my-way and thank-yous
- Text, email, both or neither, for each one
- Starts from the next booking, never a burst at the whole diary
Your words, sent at sensible times
You write every message I send on my own, with the customer’s first name, the day and the arrival window dropped in with a tap. The editor counts how many texts a message will cost and names any character, like a curly quote pasted from Word, that would more than double the price. The business name on the front and your number on the end stay fixed, because they are what gets a text delivered. Nothing goes out before 8am or after 8pm, and no customer gets more than four automatic texts from you in a week. Move a job and the reminder moves with it. Cancel it and nothing goes.
- Merge fields for the name, day and arrival window
- A cost counter that catches the characters that double the price
- Never before 8am, after 8pm, or more than four a week
Seen on the job, and in their own diary
Open a job and see what the customer was told, in order alongside your notes: the confirmation, the reminder, the on-my-way and any reply. A text that didn’t arrive is in red, so you can ring them before anyone sets off. On rentals, the visit texts can go to the tenant who lets you in, while anything about money or a review still goes to whoever pays. When a job is booked I can also offer a calendar invite that drops into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook with a reminder an hour before. That one never sends on its own: it is your call every time, and moving the job offers an updated invite.
- Delivered or failed, shown on the job and their record
- Visit texts to the tenant, the bill to the landlord
- Calendar invites, only when you tap send
